Culture Camp 2024

 

We are happy to inform you, the annual Qagan Tayagungin Culture Camp for 2024 will be held July 15 through July 25!

 

Below is the schedule for the kids attending camp:

K-2nd grade will attend 1pm to 4pm.

3rd-4th grade will attend 9am to 12pm.

5th-12th grade will attend all day from 9am to 5pm.

 

Camp will be held Monday July 15th - Saturday July 20th for the first week and Monday July 22nd - Thursday July 25th for the second week.

 

At camp we will learn the Unangan Tunuu language and dance, continue to create more Aleut Bentwood hats, regalia, headdresses, masks, beading as well as tide pooling at the beach and learning how to gather and prepare traditional foods.
