September 1, 2011 Results
Results from the sample taken September 1, 2011 from the Sand Point Spit beach have been received. On September 1st, the QT Tribe collected a number of butter clams and sent them out to be tested for the presence of PSP in coordination with APIA and their PSP program. Results indicate a PSP level of 116 micrograms, well above the FDA limit of 80 micrograms. These are dangerous PSP levels! Below are the results and further information regarding this test.
