How to I get my money from the Tribe?

The Qagan Tayagungin Tribe is a government, much like us U.S. Government.  We do not have shareholders and do not issue dividend checks.  You're probably thinking about your corporation.  Many, though not all, Qagan Tayagungin Tribal members are part of the Shumagin Corporation.

Maybe.  We are required to follow the statutes for the State of Alaska regarding charitable gaming.  15 AAC 160.470(k) reads: A permittee, operator, or registered vendor may not sell pull-tabs to an employee, an officer, a director, a member in charge, an alternate member in charge, a manager of gaming, a person who has access to pull-tab game information or accounting records, or a related party.  For purposes of this subsection, a related party includes a direct relative or an affiliate of a person regulated by this chapter.”

I'm native, can I join the Qagan Tayagungin Tribe?

Maybe.  We have an enrollment ordinance which lines out who is and is not eligible to be a citizen of the Qagan Tayagungin Tribe.  Descendants of currently enrolled tribal citizens are eligible as long as they're not enrolled in another tribe.  There are other ways to become eligible for enrollment.  For more information, check out our enrollment section of this website, and the enrollment ordinance.  If you still have questions, you can always call our enrollment clerk at 907-383-5616.
