Jr. High & High School Environmental Curriculum

The Qagan Tayagungin Tribe Environmental Curriculum was composed in 2012 for the Environmental Teen Group in hopes to teach them information about Sand Point as a community and Alaska as a whole.

The Environmental Department updated the curriculum in 2014 with Air Pollution, Invasive Species, and Solid Waste Disposal/Recycling Curriculum.

The Jr. High & High School Curriculum consists of 16 components. The components of the curriculum are: Animal Kingdom, Biodiversity, Contaminates, Dust, Ecology, Ecosystems, Ecosystem Impacts, Environment, Habitat, Marine Debris, Natural Resources, Pollution, Salt Water Marshes, Water Cycle, Water Pollution and Wetlands.
