WIC Services
On Monday morning the Qagan Tayagungin Tribe received an email informing us the Aleutian Pribilof Island Association will no longer be administering the Women Infant and Children (WIC) program. WIC services will still continue, and will still be available to all existing and potential clients through the State of Alaska's Department of Public Assistance.
Applications can be mailed or faxed to Elaine Nisonger, WIC/Community Nutritionist of the State WIC program. Her phone number is 907-269-8446; fax is 907-269-8446. Address:

Applications can be found at the Alaska WIC website: http://dhss.alaska.gov/dpa/Pages/nutri/wic/participants/default.aspx. Forms can be downloaded and printed. Qagan Tayagungin Tribal members can also come into the Tribal Office and ask a staff member to print the forms for them.
